Roof Repair Smedway handles Roof Replacement projects across Cohoes from full tear-off through final inspection, with a written scope you approve before anything is torn down.
A Roof Replacement project touches every layer of your roof system, from decking to final shingle course, and every layer matters for how long it lasts.
We also help Cohoes homeowners plan for material delivery timing so a Roof Replacement doesn't sit half-finished waiting on backordered shingles.
Documentation provided before the first tear-off day, not after you ask.
Local Cohoes crews mean project start dates aren't pushed out by weeks like out-of-area contractors.
Material and labor costs are broken out separately in every Roof Replacement estimate.
We explain the tradeoffs of each material option in terms that actually matter to you.
Here's the full breakdown of what a Cohoes Roof Replacement project with us covers.
We never install new shingles over compromised decking — it gets fixed first, every time.
Ice and water barrier gets installed at eaves and valleys per current code requirements.
Architectural shingles are installed to manufacturer nail patterns and exposure specs, not a rushed approximation.
For Cohoes homeowners considering a longer-lifespan option, we install standing seam and panel metal systems too.
Proper ridge and soffit balance keeps your new Cohoes roof running cooler and drier.
We protect landscaping and driveways during tear-off and do a full magnetic nail sweep before leaving.
A Roof Replacement project involves more coordination than a repair call, so we keep communication clear at every stage.
Crew leads arrive with the equipment needed for a full property assessment.
You get a full written estimate covering materials, labor, and disposal before any tear-off is scheduled.
Final walkthrough happens before we consider your Roof Replacement project complete.
Full tear-off and reroof, three days start to finish, and the yard was spotless after.
